The main lounge with high vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and prominent granite fireplace is where guests congregate and discusses their opinions on jam or cream first. The conversation continues through large sliding glass doors onto the broad southerly facing sun terrace with its dramatic views of Trencrom Hill and its granite outcrop. A separate snug with log burner and feature fireplace provides additional warm respite from the rugged Cornish wilderness.
An expansive and vast open plan kitchen/diner with a breakfast bar and central kitchen island handsomely caters for guests and their culinary needs when staying at Poacher’s Rest. Alfresco conversation can be enjoyed on one of the many private sun terrace.
All four guest bedrooms are generously spread out across one single storey residence with the master ensuite bedroom featuring its own private sun balcony. There are two further twin bedrooms and a double bedroom, all with TVs and ample storage for every holiday need.
The main family bathroom has a separate bath, WC, hand basin and walk-in rainforest shower with dual attachment. The master ensuite again features a walk-in rainforest shower with dual attachment, WC and a hand basin. A separate third bathroom features a shower with WC and hand basin.
There is ample parking for an assortment of oversized family cars at this property, a benefit of its detached and rural location.
There are plenty of options to dine alfresco too with an abundance of terracing thoughtfully laid out around the perimeter of the property. Surrounded by the wonders of nature and West Penwith – guests are treated to a myriad of fascinating walks, hikes and treks right on your doorstep.
This single storey property is conveniently accessed all on one level perfect for families with young children and for older guests wishing to avoid steep narrow steps.
The kitchen features a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave oven and a central island/breakfast bar.
